Bishops Coney was my first serious railway modelling effort. For many years I had kept the latest issues of the UK model rail mags by my bedside, and used to read an article before going to sleep. Cleared the mind beautifully. As soon as I got my medical speciality certificate I went out and bought the material to make a layout. It truly was built to bring a part of Britain to Canada. It was built on 3 baseboards and could be set up on the apartment window ledge, or on tables. Track was Peco and stock was Hornby and Triang. Bishops Coney was later incorporated into a 'permanent' layout in my first house. After a few years I moved again and BC was scrapped.
