|I enjoyed making this diorama. The detail on the resin castings was superb and the building went together almost by itself. I think this is a key to a good kit. The accessories that I had on hand virtually fell into place by themselves. I know that if I had painted everything in the usual way the dramatic effect would be missing. The scene looks like a stage set. Not a surprise as a lot of stage scenery is painted on a black ground. Have a good look at the windows. They look as if they might actually be able to be opened. I used a fine tipped artists felt pen to put a black line around their edges. Whenever I can I now do the same for doors and windows on anything I build. Structures, passenger stock, goods vans (freight cars), road vehicles etc. get the treatment.
