|Jeff Brickett, of Omen Miniatures, produces some wonderful female figures. It is always a challenge to find a place to put some of them. This young lady is fixing her Austin 7. I have a collection of detail items that I have acquired over the years and some of these can be seen in this scene painted black first, of course. The stone paving is made by spreading some white glue over a small area, and patting down a thin layer of Daz modelling clay over it. The stones are made by pressing a piece of brass U channel into the soft clay. A tedious process. You do not do a large area at a time. The area is then painted black and drybrushed with dark and light grey mixes. The result is a nice, well used, and old looking surface.
