The smithy
Low level shots certainly add that extra touch of reality. My Nikon Coolpix 4500 has a viewing screen that swivels and makes it easy to get images like this one. My painting technique is great for bringing out the little details on the figures. Take a careful look at the squire. Note his boots and the spurs. He is wearing a monocle which unfortunately you can't see from this angle. The blacksmith working inside shows up nicely. The horse and figures are all by Phoenix. The windows on the building are Grandt Line ones. The crane is from Andy Duncan. The buildings are sheathed in Howard Scenics embossed card.
