Knotts Wharf now enjoys well earned retirement. The 3 baseboards were made from 1" styrene insulation sheet on a grid of 1/8 inch plywood. This was very light and remarkably rigid thanks to lots of glue. The legs were also an integral part of the baseboards and folded up underneath each one. The lighting proscenium was made from the thin plywood and 1" x 3" in two parts that joined in the centre. 6 small halogen lights provided the extra illumination so essential for an exhibition layout. Note that the top of the back scene boards have a slightly irregular shape. I hate a straight line across the top of backboards. Nature does not have straight lines. I find them distracting especially in photographs.
